In a world only I can see,
My thoughts bloom, creating desire.
Safe in beauty where eyes admire,
Blissful perfection in the form of a dream.
At least that’s what my mind believes.
Shattered in a moment of blazing fire,
What has been will now expire,
My dream taken away from me.
A story shaking to stay in line,
But control is no longer mine.
Tossing, turning, fighting to sleep,
No connection to a sense of time.
Inevitable to be an endless night,
Caused by a dream thief.
